Meet Shayla Gray
Coach, Owner of Serenity Connection Collective
Helping Individuals Find Calm and Clarity Through Change
I’m Shayla Gray, a therapist, coach, and educator with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through major life transitions, especially the transition to parenthood.
In my therapy practice (Serenity First Counseling), I provide clinical, trauma-informed care—including EMDR—and individualized support for mothers and fathers navigating stress, overwhelm, and the emotional patterns that can impact relationships and family life.
Through my coaching and education work at Serenity Connection and Collective, I offer non-clinical tools, guidance, and community—filling a gap in prenatal and early-parenthood resources, particularly for fathers.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: when fathers are included, connection grows and families thrive.
Looking for Therapy Support?
For families in Virginia and Maryland seeking deeper healing and professional mental health care, we highly recommend Serenity First Counseling.
Serenity First Counseling provides dedicated therapy for fathers and mother navigating pregnancy, early parenthood, and the emotional shifts that come with it. Through individual therapy and supportive groups, parents are guided in processing trauma, managing stress, strengthening relationships, and caring for their mental health.

All offerings are educational and community-based. Serenity Connection Collective does not provide psychotherapy or clinical treatment.
