Helping Fathers Stay Connected and Steady in Early Parenthood—Support That Strengthens Families
Our mission is to strengthen the family system by supporting couples through pregnancy and early parenthood with accessible care, practical relationship skills, and community connections. We intentionally elevate and include fathers' lived experiences to fill longstanding gaps in research and support, while continuing to honor mothers’ experiences. By recognizing that both parents’ inner worlds matter, we reduce disconnection and resentment, and build teamwork, steadiness, and shared resilience from the very beginning.

Helping Individuals Find Calm and Clarity Through Change
I’m Shayla Gray, a therapist, coach, and educator with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through major life transitions, especially the transition to parenthood.
In my therapy practice (Serenity First Counseling), I provide clinical, trauma-informed care—including EMDR—and individualized support for mothers and fathers navigating stress, overwhelm, and the emotional patterns that can impact relationships and family life.
Through my coaching and education work at Serenity Connection and Collective, I offer non-clinical tools, guidance, and community—filling a gap in prenatal and early-parenthood resources, particularly for fathers.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: when fathers are included, connection grows and families thrive.
